The one who does the talking

Apparently that's why I'm in this band. Ha.

Yesterday was probably our busiest as a band ever, in that we played two shows. In the morning we played at Windsor's annual Crazy Days, sales wise it wasn't the best but anything earned is a blessing and we're greatful for it. Our part didn't really have much to do with that the selling of things anyway, we were there to play. And play we did :-) Our longest set in history (almost two and a half hours!), and our quietest, too - the neighbor's son was trying to sleep. Ooops. I think we played alright... the heat was getting to all of us by the end I think, but we made it.

That night we headed out to Johnstown for a late night open mic night... we did three songs (Just Hold On, Backizzle, I Fall Down) and mostly just had a good time. It may not have been the best thing we've ever done musically but it certainly was the most fun I've ever had on stage. Can't speak for the other three, but I really enjoyed it. Having a light show really added to the set I think... not that we can expect to always have that but it was cool at the time. The other bands/artists were really cool to - that one thing I really love about that place, you always get to play with a bunch of other awesome musicians, including the one and only Jayce, who tore the place up.

Next happening is Friday, June 16th, in the Ault Park. It should be a good show, got some other bands coming out, and we're generally going to have a good time. HOPEFULLY we'll have some new material but I've learned not to make promises as far as that goes :-)

Personally I don't think I'm that great of a talking type person for these post show wrap-ups or things like that. So I'll let my photographs do the talking for me.

This picture was taken yesterday(June 3rd) at the Windsor Garage Sale. We figured it was a good time to point some fun at our good friend Tommah Chahles. As you can see we made Thomas hold a silly vegitales of doom type thing and also put a sign on him. You can't see what it says but it said "FREE to a good home".

Here is a close up view of that vegitales thing. That right there is "In Your Face Christianity". You can't see it, but there is a sticker on it that says "World peace is our mission".

I think the garage sale turned out pretty good. We made a little money for the youth group and got to share our music with the locals. I'm sure they were happy to have the noise ;). I don't know if I have much else to say... hopefully Thomas will get on to do a post show thingy.
